Shoe Craving

I know, I know. . . before you ream my ass about it I know I've been gone for forever! I'm not back just yet but I've still been peaking at my favorite sites and eying my favorite bloggers blogs. I'm not completely back on my A game but I'm jogging to catch up. Speaking of jogging, that makes you think of shoes right? Well, it does for me. . . and boy have I been having a shoe craving. I've been buying nothing but shoes for the last couple of weeks whenever I get the chance to (after the responsibilities are paid off first of course haha). Thought I'd post a some of the shoes I've been wanting or that I've checked off of my to get list. Hope you enjoy and I hope you're all having a good life out there in bloggersphere.
(see a pattern here? lol. If a made a post of all the sneakers I've been wanting or have already gotten, we'd be here all day so I'll spare you the agony for now).

Later,
Sabine Oh.

Jessica Simpson Collection

So lately, well always, I've been interested in heels. . . REALLY INTERESTED! I've always liked them, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I really started purchasing them. To make a long story short, I bought a pair of JS 'Dany' pumps (inspired by Jeffrey Campbell's Lita pumps, or is it the other way around? hhrmm). They are absolutely comfortable and chic as hell, don't you agree? So anyway, I've been browsing Jessica's website on and off and I am just really falling in love. Her clothes, her shoes, her accessories. . . I really believe she has found her calling. Though some designs may seem "duplicates" of another designer, she executes it nicely. I am really happy with my new found discovery of her line. I knew she was in to fashion, I just never took the time to check out what she had to offer. I hope you're feeling her as much as I am, if you haven't checked out the site you definitely should: Jessica Simpson Collection

Below, I just took the time to show you the shoes I plan to purchase (if they're available when I start making money again, bleh lol). Aren't they all just darling ^_^

  • Black 'Tito' wedge - $59.49 (sale, originally $119.00)
  • Purple 'Cougar' slingbacks - $98.00
  •  Tan 'Beckery' peep toe - $98.00
  • Orange 'Tookie' platform - $79.00
  • Tan 'Keddar' gladiator platform - $89.00
  • Coral 'Cougar' textured slingback - not available on site (but I'm assuming they were $98.00 as well)

Don't step on my Blue Suede Shoes :)

(pardon the crappy photos, I was excited to get them uploaded and shown)

So this morning I got an email from FedEx stating my package was delivered. . . I've never jumped so fast out of bed in my life (unless, of course, I'm late for something lol). My Michael Antonio blue wedges from heels.com have arrived and I just had to make a quick post to show you all. First thoughts when I opened the box: the color is beautiful! After I inspected them a bit and tried them on, I sadly have three flaws:

1) They aren't exactly true to size. I'm originally a 7 in almost every shoe I have but I could have definitely gotten a 6.5 for them to fit better (as you can see by the slight gap in the back). I could exchange them but honestly I don't want to wait, so if I can find some half insoles to make them fit better I'll keep them.

2) For $64.99, I kind of expected them to be "made" a little better. The back seams are a bit tacky but nothing to stress over because they are still beautiful pieces for spring/ summer.

3) The bottom soles of the shoe are made of some type of soft suede type material so sadly if I wore these shoes on a rainy day or step on anything nasty, the bottom will be a disgusting mess. I also put them on, on a carpeted area and they were slippery, so I definitely have to be careful.

So yeah other than that, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. They also come in gray and red if you're interested and can be found HERE

P.S. Looking at these images, I realized these aren't the "ideal" style shoes for my legs. . . It cuts my leg and makes me look frumpy lol. I don't mind though b/c I am in love with them but I would definitely take that into consideration next time.

Splurge or Save

 ($560 at Net-A-Porter vs. $28.40 at Urbanog)

So I was browsing a few shoe sites (because those who know me know that I have a shopping problem lol, typical I know). Anywho, I came across these studded pumps that appeared extremely similar to a pair I had seen months back on Sarah Jessica Parker. If you're anything like me, you like to save money and get more bang for your buck lol. There are so many sites that have "high end" style shoes for cheap. One thing I don't like, though, is for the shoe to LOOK cheap so I do a lot of research before actually making a purchase lol. So yeah, I thought I'd provide a couple of sites to find some affordable shoes. . . hope you enjoy.
