Easy Breezy

Today was nothing special, but I felt like being cute and comfortable lol. It was extremely hot this morning til abotu noon and then a slight drizzle was upon us lol. My outfit fit the weather til the rain began to fall, I was without a jacket or any head covering lol. My mom finally got her soft cast off but the podiatrist instructed that she keep pressure off the foot (even though she won't listen haha). I really have to stay on top of her this time about losing weight *crosses fingers that she'll listen this time.* Anywho, we had lunch at Shorty's (we've had Shorty's every Friday for the past 3 weeks lol), ran a few errands, and did some mini shopping to pick out something for her to wear tonight with her friends (it's like I'm the mother and she's the young adult haha -__-). Now I'm just home, alone. . . bored and hungry. My friend wants to come over but I don't know, he still hasn't seen my hair so I'm not too thrilled about that idea haha. Hope everyone has a great weekend, xo.

Brighter days

(Changed my shoes later on, as you can see)

Some days I feel like "standing out" whether that comes off as a negative or positive to some, I just want to. . . today was one of those days. Recently, I fell into the traps of instagram and have been abusing it so I don't have to constantly charge my Canon. So today's outfit post is brought to you by instagram and my webcam lol. It's another hot day in south florida so I wanted to wear something lightweight and breezy without being as revealing as I was the other day lol. Nothing spectacular, just something comfortable to run errands and relax in. I absolutely love these wedges (if you couldn't tell already). The fun part about fashion is revamping what you already own, so I tucked the shirt under to make it a cropped top and pulled the dress down to make it a maxi skirt (and tied the neck part around my waist like a belly chain). Creative? I think so. Hope everyone is having a great day, peace & love.

Jessica Simpson Collection

So lately, well always, I've been interested in heels. . . REALLY INTERESTED! I've always liked them, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I really started purchasing them. To make a long story short, I bought a pair of JS 'Dany' pumps (inspired by Jeffrey Campbell's Lita pumps, or is it the other way around? hhrmm). They are absolutely comfortable and chic as hell, don't you agree? So anyway, I've been browsing Jessica's website on and off and I am just really falling in love. Her clothes, her shoes, her accessories. . . I really believe she has found her calling. Though some designs may seem "duplicates" of another designer, she executes it nicely. I am really happy with my new found discovery of her line. I knew she was in to fashion, I just never took the time to check out what she had to offer. I hope you're feeling her as much as I am, if you haven't checked out the site you definitely should: Jessica Simpson Collection

Man, I feel like a woman! - Shania Twain

So, unintentionally, my mother and I have been "bonding" every sunday. Many know I never had the best of the best relationship with her but after many thing we've been through within the past year we've been working on our time with one another. Sunday, lately, just so happens to be the day we run errands and just hang out together. Today was a good day. Though the doctor told her to stay off her foot this week, she hasn't been listening haha, felt like we were everywhere today. Oh, we stopped by Marshalls today and they had soooo many wonderful scarves. I suggest you take advantage if you have one in your area, I bought a white infinity scarf for 10 bucks. Can't beat that. Before I end this post, I'd like to congratulate my cousin Max for coming in at 2nd place and making in to states in a bridge building contest that he was a part of for school. I'm proud of you sir. Hope everyone is having a great one (unfortunately I didn't have my camera again today, so no photos of what I did again lol).
